A modern case
The Chronodate Titanium Storm Blue continues the blend of vintage inspiration and modern engineering that defines Angelus’ sporty chronographs. Its modular, multi-structure case is built for comfort and performance: the movement sits inside a lightweight, ultra-rigid carbon-fibre composite container, with the chronograph pushers—also in carbon composite—mounted directly onto this core. Surrounding it is an openworked cradle that merges the case middle and lugs into a single flowing line while supporting the twelve-notch bezel.

Chronograph Dynamics
The Chronodate draws on the historical roots of Angelus, whose reputation was built on high-quality chronographs from the 1940s onward. While those vintage models were smaller to match the tastes of the era, their oversized counters ensured excellent legibility.
The modern Chronodate carries that idea forward with bold, highly visible subdials designed for instant readability. At 9 o’clock, the small seconds, and at 3 o’clock, the 30-minute chronograph counter stand out in metallic black, creating a sharp contrast with the dial’s storm blue base. Paired with luminescent hands and hour markers, the result is a display that feels both contemporary and unmistakably rooted in Angelus’ chronograph heritage.

Dynamic movement
Inside the Chronodate Titanium Storm Blue, Angelus has integrated its own chronograph movement, the calibre A-500. Operating at 4 Hz, the movement features a column wheel and a horizontal clutch to minimise its thickness. Its self-winding system is powered by an oscillating weight designed from the brand’s archives: a capital letter “A” reminiscent of a bell – an allusion to the early days of Angelus, at the core of the mechanism.
