Where Heritage Meets Warmth
Since its neo-retro revival, the Chronodate has embodied the meeting of two worlds: the historic Angelus, rooted in Swiss watchmaking heritage, and the modern Angelus, driven by technical innovation and bold complications. This dual identity defines the collection.
Framed by a multi-material case and powered by the A-500 self-winding chronograph calibre, the mocha-toned aesthetic extends to the large-scale alligator strap. Golden hues and satin textures create a rich, refined atmosphere.

a bold fusion
The Chronodate Moka feature a 42.5 mm case that fuses lightweight carbon composite with grade 5 titanium. The movement sits in a rigid carbon-fibre container, with chronograph pushers integrated directly into the case. An openworked titanium cradle unites the case middle and lugs in a single flowing line, while also supporting a fixed bezel marked with twelve notches. This modular architecture allows the use of multiple materials, while chamfered edges and alternating straight and curved lines give the Chronodate Moka a bold, energetic presence.

Bold Counters, Striking Detail
Chronodate pays tribute to Angelus’s origins, when the brand became a leading chronograph maker in the 1930s. Back then, watches were smaller, making their counters appear large and highly legible—a feature the modern Chronodate amplifies with oversized, easy-to-read counters.
The 30-minute chronograph and small seconds counters appear in metallic black with a snailed finish, while the peripheral date hand features a red arrow that echoes the secondary indications. Applied hour markers and Arabic numerals, coated in Super-LumiNova, guarantee optimal legibility and a striking contrast against the dial’s surface.

Mechanics
Angelus powers the Chronodate Moka Titanium with its in-house A-500 chronograph calibre, fully engineered and manufactured at the Swiss Manufacture. Beating at 4 Hz, this self-winding movement offers a robust 60-hour power reserve and features a column wheel and horizontal clutch for precise, slim-profile chronograph performance.
