A Single shade of grey
The Chronodate collection introduces the silver-grey “Magnetic Silver” in a striking tone-on-tone composition. Titanium case, bracelet, or black rubber strap, rhodium-plated hands, and a sunray-brushed dial merge into a sleek, technical monochrome. This grey deepens into black, revealing the carbon-composite movement container and push-pieces, before culminating in the two contrasting counters: the 30-minute chronograph totaliser and the small seconds.

A modern case
Chronodate Titanium captures the neo-retro spirit of Angelus sports chronographs, combining modern performance with everyday comfort. Its modular case houses the movement in a rigid, lightweight carbon-composite container, with chronograph push-pieces made from the same material.
An openworked cradle unites the case middle and lugs in a single line while holding the bezel with its twelve notches. Chamfered profiles and alternating straight and curved lines give the watch its dynamic, sporty character. The titanium bracelet, with its wide links, blends vintage inspiration with modern comfort.
Chrono Dynamics
The Chronodate pays tribute to Angelus’s heritage as a leading chronograph manufacturer from the 1940s to the 1960s. At the time, watches were smaller in diameter, making their counters appear larger and exceptionally legible—a characteristic Angelus revisits today with the Chronodate’s bold, easy-to-read displays.
The 30-minute chronograph counter and small seconds stand out in metallic black with a snailed finish, adding depth and contrast. The main dial, in “Magnetic Silver”, features a subtle matte sunray-brushed texture, enhanced by applied hour markers and Arabic numerals inspired by the 1940s.
The Heart of the Chronodate
Chronodate Titanium is powered by Angelus’s in-house A-500 chronograph calibre, engineered and manufactured in-house in Switzerland. Beating at 4 Hz, the movement is driven by a column wheel and equipped with a self-winding system featuring an oscillating weight inspired by the brand’s archives: a capital “A” above a star, evoking a bell and its clapper—an emblematic nod to the early days of Angelus at the heart of the mechanism.
